Hiking



Explore the scenic beauty and majestic wildlife of Triple Creek Ranch's 600 acres and the surrounding Bitterroot National Forest on foot. 
 
You can hike endlessly out the door of your cabin to see wild turkeys, elk, deer, or an occasional moose!  Three sides of the ranch are bordered by Bitterroot National Forest offering more options for longer hikes.  Many off-ranch trails are available for all levels of ability.  Hiking to Baker Lake, a secluded alpine lake, Trapper Peak, the highest peak in Western Montana, Boulder Falls, a waterfall only accessible by foot are just a few of the many hikes available.  Whether you choose a ranch hike or an outing off property, we will be happy to supply trail maps, backpacks, bottled water, picnic lunches, sunscreen, and insect repellant.
