Surrounded by endless miles of hiking adventure!
The Bitterroot National Forest is a hiker’s paradise. Hiking Trails from the ranch are plentiful, with even more trails located off ranch to alpine destinations. Enjoy hikes along streams, cascading falls, alpine lakes or to the top of the tallest peak in the Bitterroots. Our Chefs will be happy to pack a lunch of your choice in handy backpacks for you to take along.
You can begin right outside the door of your cabin and explore endless acres into the Bitterroot National Forest for more options and longer hikes. Many off-ranch trails are available for all levels of ability. Hiking to Baker Lake, a secluded alpine lake; Trapper Peak, the highest peak in the Bitterroot Mountain range; Boulder Falls, a cascading fall accessible only by foot or by horse, these are just a few of the many hikes available. Whether you choose a ranch hike or an outing off property, we will be happy to supply pre-loaded GPS trackers, trail maps, backpacks, bottled water, picnic lunches, sunscreen, and insect repellant.
Guided forest walks are also available at our new Lavene Creek Trail System!
