2016 ~ Thanksgiving Vintner Weekend

November 23 – November 27

Following the success of our first Vintner Thanksgiving with Chappellet in 2015, Triple Creek Ranch is delighted to welcome Chloe Asseo from L’Aventure Winery to celebrate the 2016 holiday.

L’Aventure is one of the most sought after wines in Paso Robles and continues to produce some of the region’s greatest blends as recognized by wine critics worldwide. The brand was founded in 1996 when Stephan Asseo, maverick vigneron and artisan winemaker, left Bordeaux to pursue his quest for great terroir. Stephan chose the west side of Paso Robles in the Willow Creek sub region with its deep calcareous soils, the maritime influence of the Templeton Gap and the lush, rolling topography of the Santa Lucia Mountain Range. For nearly two decades, Stephan has lived his dream of blending the best of the Bordeaux and Rhône varieties to create his lauded, authentic Paso Blends.

In addition to our customary array of activities, this holiday weekend will be rounded out with lively, optional pastimes such as cranking up the old-school apple press for fresh cider and a special pie-making cooking class!

2017 ~ Winter Vintner and Culinary Events

Tranquil winter days on the ranch lend themselves to indulging the finer senses. It is the perfect time of year to augment our popular Vintner weekends with a program of cooking classes.

January 26 – 29 ~ Chateau Montelena
We are thrilled to welcome back Chateau Montelena for a cozy January Vintner weekend. This legendary Napa winery put California at the forefront of the wine world in 1976 when their Chardonnay was chosen as the top-ranking white wine by a panel of French judges.

February 9 – 12 ~ Spottswoode
Famed for their Cabernet Sauvignon, the remarkable Novak women of the Spottswoode Family Wine Estate have been producing wines known for their refined elegance, balance, and classic structure since 1982. Our cooking classes this weekend will include a special chocolate workshop for Valentine’s Day!

May 11-14 ~ Et Fille Wines
Et Fille Wines is a family-run Oregon winery established in 2003 specializing in pinot noir. Et Fille, which means “and daughter,” honors the hand-in-hand, father and daughter team of Howard Mozeico and Jessica Mozeico that makes these wines.

May 18 – 21~ Hill Family Estate
After three decades of farming grapes for some of Napa Valley’s finest wine producers, Doug Hill and his family decided that they should enter the wine business. The Hill Family Estate is the culmination of Doug’s vision to share his love of the valley, of farming and of wine with his children and wine lovers everywhere.

May 25 – 28 ~ Chappellet Winery
For nearly five decades, the Chappellet family has been crafting acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignons from fruit cultivated on the steep, rocky slopes of Napa Valley’s renowned Pritchard Hill.
