Enjoy the groomed trails of the Chief Joseph Pass Trail system on the Continental Divide!

In this self-guided adventure you can revel in 25km of well-groomed trails ranging from beginner to advanced, meticulously maintained by the Bitterroot Cross Country Ski Club. The trail system is only a short 35min drive from the ranch, and our Activity Coordinators will be happy to outfit you with the proper equipment and our kitchen will also love to send you off with a gourmet pack lunch to enjoy in the cozy warming cabin, tucked amid the trails along the way!

Weather restrictions based on snowfall do apply.


At Triple Creek Ranch we have a full range of nordic ski, boot, & pole sizes available for complimentary guest use, as well as snow parkas, Kenetrek Boots, hats, gloves, and hand or toe warmers to keep you warm on all of your winter adventures!


For guests who are also interested in Downhill Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding, just across the way from the Chief Joseph Pass Trail system, Lost Trail “Powder Mountain” Ski Area offers a powder filled alpine adventure for Skiers & Snowboarders alike. We also offer complimentary lift tickets, ski or snowboard rentals, and a shuttle to and from the mountain.
