Scenic Flat Kayaking

Join the experienced guides at Rawhide River Trips for an unforgettable, scenic expedition, brimming with adventure, exploration, relaxation, and the sheer joy of navigating the waters at your own pace down the Salmon River.

Experience the serene beauty of the stunning canyon vistas as you leisurely paddle downstream, reveling in the freedom of navigating your own kayak, and discover the intricacies of the region’s wildlife and historical landmarks, highlighted by your guides along the way. Half day trips will have the opportunity to pause and enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters, and full day tours will also have a stop for a delightful lunch break with a pack lunch provided by our wonderful team of chefs at Triple Creek Ranch.

Half Day trips run $109 per person, and Full Day trips are $217 per person, and will be added to your cabin invoice. Wet suit rentals are also available from Rawhide River Trips for a small fee of $11 each. Cancellation within 30 days is 30%; within 48 hours is full price.

White Water Kayaking

Get ready for an unforgettably exhilarating white water kayaking excursion, on this adrenaline-pumping adventure guided by the experts at Rawhide River Trips, that blends excitement with the awe-inspiring allure of the Salmon River.

Tailored for thrill-seekers, this heart-pounding expedition navigates rapids amidst stunning scenery, while expert guides navigate the best routes through the rapids, ensuring safety and providing guidance for an unforgettable experience. Amidst the excitement, guests will enjoy a pause for a relaxing lunch break on a picturesque riverside beach with a pack lunch from the Triple Creek Ranch Kitchen, allowing time to refuel and immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding you.

*Prior to this adventure, Rawhide River Trips strongly recommend participants take their 1⁄2 Day Scenic IK (inflatable kayak) trip to become familiar with kayaking techniques. As this trip caters to adventure seekers, individuals must possess the ability to self-rescue, meaning they should be capable of swimming to their kayak and getting back in if they fall out. It’s likely that
participants will take a refreshing swim out of their kayak during this thrilling journey.

Full Day trips are $232 per person, and will be added to your cabin invoice. Wet suit rentals are also available from Rawhide River Trips for a small fee of $11 each. Cancellation within 30 days is 30%; within 48 hours is full price.

Planning Ahead

Kayaking adventures are available from June (dependent upon ice melt) to mid-September, for groups of 2-6 guests.

Guests will provide their own vehicle transportation & drive themselves just an hour and fifteen minutes from Triple Creek Ranch to meet their guide in North Fork, Idaho.

Your guides will provide a life jacket, helmet, fleece if needed, bottled water, inflatable kayak, and paddle. Guests are encouraged to bring water shoes or sandals, sunscreen, sunglasses with chums (straps), & a baseball cap to be worn under their helmet.
