Ranch owners Craig and Barbara Barrett are passionate about western fine art and have carefully curated a magnificently varied collection of original pieces that showcase their exquisite taste, which ranges from classic western artists such as Charles M. Russell and Frederick Remington to contemporary artists including William Matthews and Oleg Stavrowsky. Stunning artwork graces the walls of the Main Lodge and each of the guest cabins. In addition to the classic two-dimensional mediums, the collection also boasts a terrific array of sculpture. When they are home in Montana, Craig and Barbara will often invite guests to their personal on-ranch residence for cocktail hour and a tour of their private art collection, including Craig’s extensive selection of Ed Borein sketches. The Barretts also graciously open their home for tours of the private collection upon request as available.
An extension of this passion for art is manifest in our Artist Workshop Weekends. On these bright, crisp fall days, guests have the opportunity to work side-by-side with prominent western artists during a weekend filled with art, laughter, exceptional dining, and camaraderie.
This carefully cultivated attention to visual detail assures that the tableau on your cabin walls is matched only by the Montana beauty just outside your door.
