November 22 – November 26, 2017
Following the success of our first Vintner Thanksgiving with Chappellet in 2015, Triple Creek Ranch is delighted to welcome Jennifer and Barry Waitte from Tamber Bey Vineyards to celebrate the 2017 holiday.
Tamber Bey’s portfolio of wines are made from estate-grown fruit and from grapes carefully sourced from select vineyards in Napa and Sonoma. The wines are produced at the Sundance Ranch, a world-class equestrian facility in Calistoga that is home to the winery. Sundance Ranch is also home to the Waittes’ Arabian endurance race horses. These horses compete in races covering 50 to 100 miles, and are ridden by Waitte and his wife, Jennifer, who trains them. Where better to gather with these esteemed winemakers and equestrians for the Thanksgiving holiday than at Triple Creek Ranch – marrying our passion for wine and horses!
In addition to our customary array of activities, this holiday weekend will be rounded out with lively, optional pastimes!
Retreat to Triple Creek Ranch for a lively yet intimate celebration when the ranch is imbued with the festive spirit of the season and adorned in all its holiday finery. Experience a cowboy Christmas with old-fashioned fun in the snow, including horseback riding, ice fishing, sledding, skijoring and skiing in the Montana Rockies, where the crisp, clean, cold mountain air refreshes and invigorates. Select a real or artificial tree for your cabin and decorate it with our ornaments or those you’ve brought from home, or allow us the pleasure of decorating for you!
Return to the warmth of your fire-lit cabin with cheeks flushed from a day on the ski slopes, racing the winter breeze on a dog sled, or a tranquil horseback ride through the wintry countryside. Whether you choose to play in the pristine wilderness or relax in the plush comfort of your cabin with its sparkling wood-burning fire, your holiday at Triple Creek Ranch will be a felicitous end to the year.
Western New Year’s Eve Party
Triple Creek Ranch welcomes the New Year in our distinctive, elegant cowboy style! Savor a special five-course, wine-pairing dinner, then adjourn to Elk Meadow for an evening of games and entertainment. Triple Creek Ranch is always romantic, but on Valentine’s Day you’ll experience a whole new meaning for the lover’s holiday. Chef Jake offers scrumptious gourmet meals, served in our elegant candlelit dining room.
The beauty of Triple Creek Ranch is that you can craft your own vision of a romantic holiday from a variety of options. Relax in a soothing hot tub under the stars or cuddle up next to the fire after a day on the slopes. Where better to refresh and reconnect with your Valentine than our adults-only mountain escape.
Food is the language of love, so Triple Creek Ranch offers a special Valentine’s Day Cooking School in 2017. Executive Pastry Chef Natasha Platt presents a chocolate workshop to delight the senses!
Triple Creek Ranch owners Barbara and Craig Barrett invite guests to join them at Elk Meadow, their private home, to enjoy a festive Fourth of July barbecue with entertainment, special activities, and an over-the-top fireworks display!
