“How does Chef Jake do it?” every guest asks. While Chef Jake and his culinary team are always happy to provide a recipe, our cooking school weekends give them a chance to show rather than tell, working side by side with guests to teach a variety of methods such as fish cookery, barbecue and grilling, Italian pastas and sauces, wild game cookery, and proper braising and sautéing techniques to name a few.
Recent cooking school attendees have had the pleasure of preparing and enjoying such delicacies as a Grilled Beef Rib Eye with Pineapple Blue Cheese Salad, Grilled Oysters and Fresh Romaine Lettuce Broth, Steamed Local Pork Spare Ribs, Bamboo Steamed Grouper Dumplings and Pan Fried Golden Trout with Salsify and Smoked Tomatoes.
Our Executive Pastry Chef will guide you through dessert preparation and our Sommelier will provide instruction on wine pairing, beer tasting and mixology. These hands-on sessions are deliciously entertaining and guests return home with new skills, new friends and a coveted Triple Creek Ranch apron!
